World Cup Lottery
It was suggested to me that we should have a raffle for the World Cup.
No Picks, No Knowledge, No Input, buy a ticket (or more) to get in and then leave it all to chance.
And I thought, Why NOT..... So Read ON
It's, £5 a ticket, and, there's no no, no no no no, no no no no, no no there's no limit, you can buy as many as you want.
Your ticket will get you 4 countries to follow, they will win you points, based on how well they do, and those points won will determine how much Lady Luck smiles down on you.
AND at least £3.00 from every ticket sold will go to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Countries have been split based on FIFA World Ranking into 4 groups, you will get one from each group, and they will/might earn you points as follows

3 for winning their group, 2 for being second, and 1 if their third

3 more points if they get through the Round of 32, 1 if they go out on penalties

4 more if they get through the Round of 16, 2 if they go out on penalties

5 more for winning in the Quarter-Finals, 3 for being knocked out on penalties

7 for a Semi Final win, 4 if they miss out on penalties

10 for the winners, 5 for the Runners-Up.

Goals scored by your four teams (including extra time goals but excluding penalty shoot out goals) will act as a tie-break in the event of a draw.

If still drawn, prizes will be split.
Tables will be posted on here showing which tickets are the most valuable once the Groups start to be settled, and then updated through until the end of the competition.
The tickets above are not yet 'frozen', the countries will change randomly, between now and the deadline to buy tickets which is Thursday 11th June, 5PM, when LIVE on WhatsApp (If I can work out how to do that) the final picks will be determined and locked in for the tournament.
The ticket(s) with the most points will win, Prizes may be paid out to more than first place, depending on the numbers purchased.
