Round 26 sees the start of the Second Cup Competition for everyone taking part in the Main League.
Round 2-23 has already seen the Head2Head Competition take place, won eventually by Bachman & Robin. For the second half of the season we have 'The GPT'.
In these cups, only the "Basic' points scored count. No Bonus additional points, or just as importantly, negative points for wrong predictions, count. Just the points for getting scores and results correct.
The scoring in this competition will resemble that of Formula 1, each Round the Winner will get 25 points, 2nd place 18 points, 3rd place will get 15 points, then 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 & 1 from 4th to 10th place.
The positions will be decided by points recorded firstly, then, if points are level, how good your %C Rating is throughout the competition (the percentage of results/scores you've got right).
All the Results will be shown in the tables below on the website, and will be updated as goals go in each Round. The Points won in the Round being played, will be shown on the Left, and the Standings in the Trophy Table will be shown on the Right, with placings shown for each Round that has been complete, all the way through to the Final Round.
The above is a 'Test' I've been running over the last few Rounds, and will be re-set to zero at the start. As you can see, all teams taking part in the Main Competition are automatically included in the Competition, and you don't need to do anything extra, just keep sending those guesses in before the weekly deadlines.
However, it's also open to any New Players that want that want in, and they will also be entered into a Second Division for their own Competition through to the end of the Season. £10.00 will get them into both the Second Tier and The Grand Prix Trophy, simply email me (prestidgesmj@gmail.com) and I will make sure you're added and ready to Compete.
The Subs paid will increase the winners pot for this competition, and also put an amount aside for the Second Division.
